Two Nouns is What?

During the UK tour for my book (💁🏿‍♀️) I laughed, often, at the pub naming convention of Noun & Noun (Dog & Duck, Hare & Hounds, Coach & Horses… and literally hundreds more).

So when I emigrated from New York to London in 2017, I started this newsletter to share random bits with an increasingly far-flung group of friends and allies.

I’ve since covered black motherhood, global film distribution, Burning Man, creepy genetic testing, the Windrush immigration scandal, and the clever export of Thai cuisine. I’m still trying to write monthly, and a lovely gang of strangers have come along for the ride.
